As a firm, we have joined forces to create a master plan for Stretford. Our main precedent for our design is the Superkilen in Copenhagen. The main concept of the design is to create an open pedestrianised area between the two main sites; this way we are able to create a safe, green area for the people of Stretford. The center of the area acts like a nucleus of a cell, becoming a central multipurpose space for Stretford to hold events. This will all be done by shifting the metro way to underground tunnels.
