Privacy in a co-housing environment is the main design factor for this proposal. The series of housing lots varies in sizes and layouts to suit the requirements of each occupant. With relatively dense housing, the garden terraces are orientated such that it does not face each other to ensure residents do no disturb each other during outdoor activities. The multi-functional communal basement could also be potentially linked to the Stretford Subways, and as illustrated above, could be transformed into a lively underground green space.
